Dozens of Arkansans traveled to the state Capitol to speak about the potential for harm from the bills. Their voices were drowned out by lobbyists who pressure legislators with threats of a primary opponent or withheld funding.
Common Ground Arkansas is listening to Arkansans. Together, we can work toward common sense legislation in the Natural State.
Today in the legislature, we made it easier to kill someone and harder to cast a vote. I voted against disenfranchising voters today and against SB24 when it was in the Senate. The extremes are winning.
