Before October 11 to vote in the November general election.

If you’re close to that deadline, the county clerk’s office is the best place to register.

Take your driver’s license or other photo identification when you register.

Requirements

To register in Arkansas, you must:

Be a U.S. citizen.
Be an Arkansas resident.
Be age 18 or turn 18 on or before the next election.
Not be a convicted felon whose sentence has not been discharged or pardoned.
Not be presently adjudged as mentally incompetent as to your ability to vote by a court of competent jurisdiction.

After You’ve registered

Follow up with your county clerk to ensure your registration has been processed. You should receive a voter card in the mail with your precinct and other details. You can also check your voter status on Voter View.
