To Amend the Arkansas Water and Air Pollution Control Act; and to exempt certain property owners’ associations and homeowner’s associations from certain water permit actions.
Summary
What it does
The bill exempts property owners’ associations and homeowners’ association that operate domestic sewage treatment works for more than 5,000 people from permit oversight by ADEQ. Those associations would join an exempted list that includes schools, state facilities, universities, and some industrial entities.
