Full Bill Title

An Act to amend the law governing the creation of designated entertainment districts; And for other purposes

Summary

What it does

This bill removes a requirement that towns must collect a hamburger or hotel-motel tax to be able to establish an entertainment district. It would basically allow any city or town in a wet county to create an entertainment district.

What’s an entertainment district? It’s an area that a city can establish where folks can walk around with an alcoholic beverage.
