What it does
This bill sets the insurance reimbursement rate for births in Arkansas at the rate of a cesarean section (c-section).
The bill states:
“The reimbursement rate for a birth in this state needs to be equitable and no less than the established reimbursement rate of a birth by Cesarean section under a health benefit plan.”
