An act to add the criminal offense of vaccine harm; And for other purposes
Summary
What it does
This bill would create a new felony for “vaccine harm.” Officers of companies that bring new vaccines onto the market could be guilty of this new felony if they knowingly withhold information of dangerous effects of the drug AND the drug causes physical injury or death to a user.
Vaccine harm would be a felony punishable by at least 1 year in jail and “not more than life,” according to the bill.
Context
Someone who does any of the above is already guilty of a felony under federal law.
