Increasing sentences for fentanyl offenses
Summary
What it does
This bill enhance the penalties for certain fentanyl-related offenses. It would require that anyone convicted of delivering, manufacturing, or trafficking of fentanyl must be sentenced to at least 30 years in prison; or life in prison with eligibility for parole no sooner than 30 years if fentanyl caused the death of the receiver.
