Original Title
To amend the law concerning parking priviledges for a person issued a disabled verteran special license plate.
Summary
What it does
This bill clarifies would no longer allow veterans with disabled veteran license plates to park in handicapped spots by default. They would still have to get hang tag from the DMV if they have mobility issues that require them to access a handapped parking spot. Sponsor Rep. Mark Berry said that sometimes disabled veterans without mobility issues take up handicapped spots needed by those with mobility issues.
