Joint Budget
Feb. 15, 2022
Dismang [00:00:59] Members, I just want to walk through real quick how we’re going to handle today. You should have, you know, your packets at your desk. We’re going to go page by page. What I mean by that is Kevin’s going to read the bills and summaries for those that are ready to go today, and we are going to take questions, comments, whatever it may be. If they’re not contentious, then we’re going to go ahead and vote those out today by page, if that makes sense. So, in essence, on the, on the, on the Senate bill calendar– or in the Senate bill agenda, I’ll read off after he does the summaries, take the questions and we’ll take a motion for it. For instance, on SB 02, SB 3, SB 4, SB 5and SB 6, and we’ll vote those all at one time with one motion. Do you have any questions on the procedures for today? All right, seeing none, we do have a little bit of housekeeping for the House. Senate members, you don’t need to participate in this, but their RSA resolutions are here. So I’m going to turn it over to the co-chair so he can introduce those and take a vote.
Jean [00:02:01] Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Members of the House, this is House resolution 1017, 1018. They’re duplicates. This is what we introduce the RSA with. We’ll fill in the details later on in the session. They’re word for word identical. Any questions on this? I’ll need a motion to approve both resolution 1017 and 1018. I have a motion and a second. Any discussion? All in favor say aye. Any opposed? Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
Dismang [00:02:30] All right. Senator Sample, if I can go ahead and hit your button, I’m going to introduce– or recognize you.
