Full Bill Title

To Amend the law allowing certain employees to take a leave of absence for emergency and rescue services


What it does

This bill adds school district employees to a list of government employees eligible to take leave for training for:

  • Civil Air Patrol
  • US Coast Guard Auxiliary
  • emergency and rescue services
  • other national disaster programs listed in bill

They will be allowed leave with pay for up to 15 days per year. State, city, and county employees were already entitled to this provision.
