Original Title
To specify the time within which one may seek an opinion from the Attorney General on whether the decision of a public-records custodian regarding the release of certain public records is consistent with the law
Summary
What it does
It gives requesters and public records custodians more time to request an opinion from the Attorney General over the custodians' decision about the realse of records. It currently says the request to the AG should be made "immediately." This bill would amend it to before the close of the AG's office the following business day.
